This years XL Easter eggs have up to 3000 calories and seven times the fat of a Big Mac these
EASTER eggs are an annual treat that aren’t just for kids – everyone loves scoffing a chocolate egg (or two) during the long weekend.
However, chocoholics should be careful when choosing certain eggs, as some can pack an eye-watering amount of sugar and fat.

The average child is apparently gifted 13 Easter eggs on average, according to a survey conducted by Wren Kitchens, and it's easy to get carried away by choosing larger ones, which are often very high in fat and sugar.
The kitchen specialist therefore analysed 27 different Easter treats to work out which ones are the worst for the waistline – and one shocking option is the equivalent in fat to seven Big Macs.
The Cadbury Chopped Nut Egg is a whopping 2,977 calories, and contains 180g of fat, and 285g of sugar.
That's the same amount of calories as 8.5 Krispy Kreme doughnuts - so make sure the huge egg will last you at least that many servings.

The best treat is the Malteaster Bunny, which has just 156 calories, so a perfect snack for your child.
Creme eggs are a firm favourite - and they actually have a lower fat content than the Malteaster bunny - just 6g instead of 9g, but have nearly double the amount of sugar.
Watch out with Mini Eggs, as one packet has the same amount of sugar as nearly five original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
The Mars Easter egg has 703 calories in total, so definitely pace yourself if you're gifted it, and don't have it all in one go.
The table has the full breakdown of worst offenders so you know which ones to steer clear of.
Or, just make sure that your hefty supply of chocolate lasts you much longer than the long weekend - however tempting it may be.
