FORMER Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian and her husband David O’Mahoney have shared a stunning snap from their exotic honeymoon in the Maldives.

The newlyweds were seen relaxing on a boat as they enjoyed the sunset during their romantic getaway.

They recently tied the knot at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall in front of celebrity pals.

Doctors actress Ali has told how they were still buzzing from the big day when they jetted off to the stunning destination in South Asia.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, Ali, 37, said: “It was incredible, just so exciting. We were still on a high from our wedding.”

Their holiday was so romantic that Ali admitted “I cried before when we said goodbye!”

On their final night they indulged in a seven-course candlelit dinner.

Ali previous told how the wedding ceremony was the “happiest day of my life”.

The happy couple were joined by celebrity guests including Westlife’s Kian Egan and his wife Jodi Albert, who also starred in Hollyoaks.

Ali’s former Hollyoaks co-star Carley Stenson also sang as the beautiful bride walked down the aisle.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Ali said: “The whole day just felt magical.

“It was everything I dreamed of and more. It really was the happiest day of my life.’

“We held each other’s hands so tightly all the way through the ceremony. We were both on the edge of tears.”

Her hubby told how Ali “took his breath away” as they said their vows.

“She looked absolutely stunning, so incredibly gorgeous,” he said.

“I felt so proud – proud of how beautiful she looked, and proud that she was on time!”

During his speech, David declared that he loves Ali “more than ketchup”.

“I’m very grateful to Ali for being my perfect partner.

“So the last person I thanked was Ali – I’m so proud, grateful and in love with her, it was very emotional to declare that in front of a room full of people.”

Speaking about the moment they met, Ali said: “The moment David walked in I remember thinking, I’m in so much trouble!

“We kissed like teenagers in a corner all night and ended up having eggs Benedict at 5am in a Soho cafe.”

The couple told how they are hoping to start a family.

“We hope we are blessed with children – we both come from brilliantly large families and would love to add to them at some point in the future,” David said.
